Strongsville is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Strongsville follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. I had the opportunity to visit Lao Sze Chuan in Strongsville during their soft opening, and because so many restaurants can change once the opening excitement settles down, I really wanted to come back a few weeks later and see if the experience was just as good. It was even better. I had dinner at the bar and started with the Szechuan wontons with chili oil, followed by the sesame chicken with rice. For dessert, I had the crispy sweet rice with brown sugar, and with dinner I enjoyed the plum wine, which was cool, crisp, and absolutely delightful. You know youβve had a truly great dining experience when you almost wish you could start the entire evening over again just so you could enjoy it all one more time. That is exactly how I felt. Lizzie and Jaegger were absolutely wonderful. They were warm, charming, attentive, and such great conversationalists. They made the entire experience feel like it had been wrapped up in a gift. I left feeling not only full and completely satisfied, but also like I had just spent the evening talking with friends. So many restaurants today are missing that combination of excellent food, genuine hospitality, atmosphere, and personal connection. La

Food was superb, I knew that going in. Service was also excellent, gave us plenty of time to decide and plenty of time between apps and entrees. Only critiques, the music was odd, loud and like a weird elevator music vibe. The Mongolian Beef was very good but not spicy at all regardless the menu indicator, it was actually a bit sweet but still tasty. They wouldn't seat us until our entire party was there (5 people) which seemed odd bc we had a reservation and it was pretty dead when we went on a Sunday at 12:30. But will definitely be returning because of the service and the food.

We came here for dinner and sat at the bar. The bartender was great and took really good care of us. He recommended one of the chicken dishes, so we decided to try it. Unfortunately, the chicken was very dry and seemed over-fried. It honestly wasnβt enjoyable to eat, so I asked our server to please let the chef know and bring us some dipping sauces which he did. 3 different ones. We also ordered the dan dan noodles, and those were very goodβnice and spicy, exactly how I like them. Since they just opened, Iβm willing to give them another chance and come back again. Hopefully next time the chicken dishes will be cooked better and actually enjoyable.

Dim sum is great. Fresh and high quality. A little on the pricey side compared to other dim sum places Iβve had in the area, but still really good. Ming is an excellent and personable waiter that made the experience even better. Will be back
